Here are some tips on how to properly prepare for an appointment with a professional photographer.

Enhance volumes and depersonalize
Clear the surface of bedside tables, desks, inside cupboards.
Hide cleaning products, sponges, dish drainers in kitchen and bathroom cupboards.
Hide bulkier items: space heaters, fans, clothes rack washing machine, bins, vacuum cleaner and cleaning accessories in the toilets.
Hide electrical cables as much as possible.
Remove your own toiletries, bath towels, cosmetics, and close the toilet lid.

Let in natural light
Clean mirrors and glass.
Open all curtains to let in as much natural light as possible.
Install green plants in open spaces for more lively and organic photos.
Clear planters of dead plants, empty flower pots...

Create a cocoon effect
Choose a nice matching bedding set and pull the sheets tight to avoid creases in the photos.
Even in summer, place a duvet to give volume under the sheets.
Arrange matching throws and cushions on your indoor and outdoor sofas to make the space cozy and welcoming.
Vary the textures of the accessories, install candles, decoration, home fragrance, by harmonizing their colors.
